January...so far

Finally an update!!! I decided I needed to get the blog fixed since the baby is due in 4 days. Woo hoo! This is an ultrasound they did a week ago. They estimated her weight to be about 5lbs 12oz. They say give or take about 8oz. I'm so anxious for her to get here! We finally picked a name but now we're having second thoughts on the middle name. So, we're changing it. We haven't told anyone the name yet so it'll be a surprise. I go in on Thursday morning at 7:30 am to get induced. This last week has lasted what seems to be an eternity! I'll have to keep myself busy these next few days so they'll fly by. Waiting for your baby to come can be torture! Anyway, Kyler is so excited to meet her new "ista" (sister). She can't wait to help change her diapers!

This is a profile of her at 38 weeks

Emerson had her 3rd birthday party at Chuck E Cheeses. It was really fun for her but I didn't realize how small it was. I guess when you're a kid that place seems like it's gigantic. Growing up sucks sometimes.

Kyler had so much fun playing the games and riding the rides.

Her favorite was the train with Barney. I think she used most of her tokens for this ride. She also tells everyone she saw Chuck E. Her teacher said that's all she talked about at school last week. When she sees the commercial on tv she says "Hey I did that!" and asks to go back.

Kyler had her first pig show January 2nd in Stillwater. This is Gavin, a little boy she befriended. He has a crush on Kyler! He saw her sparkly belt and told her he had tons of big buckles at home she could borrow. They are too cute!!

The Pig Princess posing before the show.

Kyler did such a great job showing her pig! Everyone was really impressed especially with how old she was. She ended up getting 2nd place in her class. She showed a cross guilt named Pistol Pete. She can't wait to show another one! Oh! And at first she wouldn't put on her boots so I told her Cinderella had some just like them. She didn't mind putting them on after that. She now calls them her Cinderella boots!

December

Kyler, Haley, and Adyson at the Bechtel Christmas.

Kyler in one of her Christmas presents. She's obsessed with those shoes!

Kyler and Kaden

She loves her new bike. Can't wait until spring when we can actually go outside to ride it rather than in the house.

Kyler on Christmas morning.

This was our Christmas card picture. We were so behind on everything because of the Disney trip and all of us fighting off the stomach bug. We were supposed to get her picture done in her Christmas dress but it just didn't happen. I ended up making the cards two days before the 25th but they turned out pretty cute anyway!

Kyler helped me decorate the Christmas tree this year. It looked beautiful...even though at times I'd see about 5 ornaments on one little limb.

Kyler in her Christmas dress. She looked so cute in it!

Santa came to visit Kyler at our house this year. Our neighborhood has Santa come by your house and he brings a toy for your child. He brought Kyler an Ariel barbie. She was so cute talking to him and telling him all about Disney of course.

Disney World

This was such an incredible vacation! I will agree when people say that Disney World is magical. We were there for 7 days and managed to visit every park. It was a really fast paced trip but that's how you have to do it when you want to try to get everything in. These are only a few pictures of the around 300 that we took. Kyler still can't stop telling random strangers in public that she saw Cinderella and her castle along with many many other characters!

Our pool at the Polynesian Resort where we stayed.

Wish I could take credit for this but I can't.

Kyler at the "beach" outside our resort.

We took the boat from Magic Kingdom to our resort one afternoon.

Ady, Tinkerbell, and Kyler-we waited in line forever to get to see her and two of her fairy friends. It's always worth the wait when you get to see their reaction and how happy it makes them!

Kyler and Ariel in her grotto.

We went on a safari and saw tons of cool animals. After the safari was over we had an exclusive dinner with some of the characters from The Lion King.

Our little family waiting for yet another parade. I loved them all but you have to get there early to get a spot so you can see and they last a while. It also seems like they occur about every few hours. I will say that they are absolutely incredible but I'm just a little paraded out for a while.

We went and saw Finding Nemo. This was one of my favorite shows we went to.

Kyler loved riding the rides!

Ady and Kyler hanging out on the beach one evening while we were waiting for the Floatilla. The Floatilla is a light parade on the water. They do it every night.

I call this the city of lights. At MGM they have a city covered in lights that flashes to music. It also snows while you walk through the city. They think of everything!

Kyler got a Cinderella tattoo. She cried when it washed off.

Kyler waiting for the parade to start. She's so cute!

We had a special lunch with Winnie the Pooh and friends.

Kyler and her cousins outside Minnie's house.

This was Kyler's reaction the first time she ever set eyes on Mickey Mouse...at a parade of course. Priceless.

So Kyler is now obsessed with Cinderella. We had a special lunch reserved to meet Cinderella and to eat with all the other Disney Princesses. I think this was her favorite part of the entire trip!

November

Kyler had a Thanksgiving Feast at her school. I got to come eat with her and her classmates!

Corn was the only this child would eat.

I had a shower for the new baby. It was so good to see my friends and of course eat all the yummy food!

Kendra and Kaci did such a great job planning the shower.

Kyler's birthday party was so fun! She had a Tinkerbell cake and asked that her friends come as any Disney character of their desire.

(I need to put this video on here but I'll have to do it another time) Kyler had been practicing blowing out her candles for weeks. When it came time to do it she couldn't quite get them to go out. She got really frustrated and blew her little heart out! It was precious!

We went to a tea party to celebrate Kyler's 2nd birthday. The girls looked so cute in their princess dresses!

Kyler and I decorated cupcakes for Kyler's actual birthday. We had a little party of our own here at home.

Kyler got her "big girl" bed! I was really worried how she'd adjust but she has transitioned wonderfully!

We had a Bechtel cookout at Green Acres in Blackwell.

October

Blake picked out Kyler's Halloween costume this year. The first time she put it on and looked in the mirror she was a little freaked out.

Aunt Megan came up and babysat the girls while Blake and I went to a Halloween party.

Ariel, Minnie, and the elephant...so cute!

This is Emerson, Kyler's best friend. These two girls are so funny when they get together!

This is our neighbor Naomi. She's the healthiest 80 year old woman I know! She adores Kyler and says she's her "in town" grandma.

Blake picked the Halloween costumes this year. I was a little worried about what he'd come up with especially because we were limited on costumes that would fit me. So, we went as a priest and pregnant Catholic school girl. A little naughty but it was all fun and games!

We had our annual Fall Family Festival in Tulsa with my side of the family. Kyler had so much fun with all her cousins, playing games, arts and crafts, and jumping in the Jupiter Jump.

We went to Chester's Party Barn again this year. We look forward to going again next October!

Kyler loves OSU!

Okay, so I asked Blake to take a belly picture for me. Obviously he took it literally. I was standing there smiling not thinking I would need to tell him to take the picture of me and my belly. When I went to upload the picture on the computer I discovered just "the belly". It really cracks me up!

We went to Quail Springs Mall with Emerson and Carol for a play date. The girls love playing at their indoor playground and visiting the Disney store.

Blake had a pig show at the Tulsa State Fair. They won the whole thing!!

Kyler loved the Fair this year!
